Massage Therapy

Holistic or 'complementary therapies' such as massage, aromatherapy and reflexology are so called because they work well alongside other treatments and medications to increase a sense of wellbeing and improve quality of life.

Many of us never discover how effective (and frankly, fabulous) a good massage can be until we’re in need of one. Regular treatments help to maintain immune health and keep our minds and bodies more balanced and resilient.

Targeted / remedial massage

Specific areas of muscular pain can be addressed by devising a treatment plan. Together we look at how issues may have arisen and how we prevent further injury or pain. Deeper tissue techniques may be employed during remedial, targeted massage. Reflexology may also be included for chronic back pain (alongside massage) as the results can be remarkable.

Aromatherapy

Experience divine relaxation. A slow, gentle massage with soothing and flowing movements - you can't help but unwind during this powerfully peaceful treatment. Especially useful during times of deep emotional stress, grief or when your nerves are feeling overly frazzled, the calming of the nervous system promotes rest and can aid sleep. Oils are selected and blended for you on the day to suit your individual mood and needs.

Swedish

Skin and muscles are warmed with long flowing opening moves and fascia release techniques. The more vigorous Swedish style kneads and rolls muscles into a more pliable state to leave you relaxed and buzzing.

Had an incredibly relaxing treatment with Sarah, and was left with an enormous sense of warmth and well being. I highly recommend her treatments.
